When should I get adjusted
Allow yourself to be evaluated and treated by your chiropractor for a short period of time. This will establish a baseline for your needs and demonstrate to the chiropractor how your body responds to care. Once this has been established it's all about your goals. If you want nothing less than OUTSTANDING then that adjustment schedule will be significantly different from someone who simply settles for an OK lifestyle.
We suggest getting adjusted on a regular basis. Performance oriented people get adjusted at least once a week. Wellness oriented people usually get adjustments once every other week and those people that merely enjoy to occaisional experience get adjusted no less than once per month.
Try this pattern: PATTERN "A": Notice how long your feel "Great" for after your adjustment and then prior to feeling "not so great" go and get adjusted again. Then your pattern is: " I feel Great " - some time passes - " I still feel Great, so I am going to get adjusted " - some time passes - " I feel even Greater, so I am going to get adjusted again " - and on and on the pattern goes all the while being guided by your Chiropractor. As opposed to PATTERN "B": " I feel Great after my adjustment " - some time passes and you wait until - " I feel terrible, so I go and get adjusted " - " Now I feel Great again " - some time passes - " I feel terrible again, so I will get adjusted " on and on the pattern goes...
Notice Pattern A people feel really good most if not all of the time while Pattern B people go up and down like a rollercoaster. Question is, Who do you want to be? What quality of life do you want?
