   Orthopedist did evaluation and sent me for MRI. Never went back after session with Dr. Surie.

5. Has being a patient under chiropractic care made any changes or improvements in your life? If so, what are they? I feel overall improvement with my condition as well as the rest of my body. I feel looser and more open and light.
6. Additional Comments: As a massage therapist it is vital for me to move freely without strain. My posture has improved and I'am more mindful of my body mechanics. Dr. Surie has helped both with my physical and mental well-being. I am able to concentrate on issues other than my physical issues and feel more free.

   Other chiropractor - who helped that day but it didn't stick.

I have motion in my shoulder, I can raise my arm above my head - all this movement is important for everyday life, from putting on a shirt, cleaning a room and reaching for anything.
6. Additional Comments: I have been to many chiropractors throughout my life and I have found John Surie's approach and ability to get to the depths of the problem to be unique. He uses methods that get deep into the issue. He does it all with confidence, heart and kindness. physical and mental well-being.    Orthopedist- gave me pain killers which made me drowsy and physical therapy

6. Additional Comments: He is truly a miracle worker. He is gentle and explains his goals with you, which make sense. He works with you and your own personal issues to create a plan exclusively for you at your level, whatever that may be. He pays attention to what you tell him and remembers your previous issues and works from there. I believe he's what has helped me feel better after my accident.

   Nerve cortigation, 2 surgeries (lamanectomies), pain management, physical therapy, drugs, nerve blocks

6. Additional Comments: Dr. Surie and his staff are caring & concerned. Dr. S gives a "flight plan" plan, unlike some chiropractors, for treatment and length of treatment. So far steady progress has been attained.

Louise Lessersohn

Discomfort started in fall of 2007 during full-body exercise/conditioning class (3x/week). Cause: too heavy a weight while doing lunges/step-ups (Not too severe).

4. How long have you been under the care of Dr. Surie? What results have you experienced thus far? Since February 2007. Excellent results. I move and exercise freely without any thoughts of discomfort. All natural motions are back and I’m back to working out rigorously but with common sense.
5. Has being a patient under chiropractic care made any changes or improvements in your life? If so, what are they? Pain free in my hip(s). Understanding my body better. There is a positive energy upon entering Dr. Surie's office - his strength and positive reinforcement is contagious.
6. Additional Comments: The stretches Dr. Surie recommends/require keep me flexible and toned.His staff is professional and pleasant. I always look forward to seeing Shelby and Nancy. Dr. Surie certainly "cures" what ails you: you have an appointment to fix one thing; mention to him any new pains; and he's on it and you are on the mend.I take less advil then ever before in my life - just not necessary anymore. Dr. Surie knows his stuff; he maneuvers you in a gentle yet very effective manner. You never feel rushed during your adjustment; he is totally focused the whole time on you. Dr. Surie is confident and knowledgeable.

4. How long have you been under the care of Dr. Surie? What results have you experienced thus far? Dr. Surie has eliminated the numbness through my arm and greatly decreased back and neck pain.
5. Has being a patient under chiropractic care made any changes or improvements in your life? If so, what are they? I am generally pain free as a result of Dr. Surie's care. I sleep much better - waking rested and refreshed. Previous to Dr. Surie's treatment I experienced interrupted sleep - which meant I was always exhausted during my day time hours.
6. Additional Comments: Besides his chiropractic adjustments - Dr. Surie has given me great advice as to how to notice and be aware of everyday activities that may be causing or aggravating my conditions.

2. What was your particular condition? When did it begin? How long did you have it? What caused it? How severe was it? Frequent headaches- started in December 2006; got more frequent and severe. Caused partly by neurosarcoid, tension in neck.
3. Did any other physician treat you for this condition? (E.g., an orthopedist, neurologist, physical therapist or another chiropractor) If so, what were your results? I also received treatment for neurosarcoid from a sarcoid specialist (steroids, etc.). That helped overall but neck is still bad.
4. How long have you been under the care of Dr. Surie? What results have you experienced thus far? Since March 2007. Total elimination of headaches! Also, relief from periodic neck pain.
5. Has being a patient under chiropractic care made any changes or improvements in your life? If so, what are they? Greater ease and range of motion.
6. Additional Comments: Besides the elimination of the headaches, the periodic adjustments free up tensions and give a greater ease of being. My basic illness, neurosarcoid, has many delirious effects, some from medications. Periodic chiropractic care assists in dealing with this difficult situation.

2. What was your particular condition? When did it begin? How long did you have it? What caused it? How severe was it? My condition was very bad. I had back surgery and had a lot of pain. It probably started when I was a kid but I did hurt my back about 4 years ago. I work for a pool guy and do lots of heavy lifting the wrong way. It was extremely severe.
3. Did any other physician treat you for this condition? (E.g., an orthopedist, neurologist, physical therapist or another chiropractor) If so, what were your results? I had physical therapy, it helped a little but not enough.
4. How long have you been under the care of Dr. Surie? What results have you experienced thus far? I’ve been with Dr. Surie almost a year and have healed greatly from his care. He has been the only one so far that has really helped me.
5. Has being a patient under chiropractic care made any changes or improvements in your life? If so, what are they? Many changes have occurred and improved. Being aligned correctly helps, of course, but Dr. Surie always has given me exercises to strengthen my back. Anytime I felt like I could not do something he encouraged me to push so I can heal. He has always been honest with me and never directed me the wrong way.
6. Additional Comments: I just wanted to add Dr. Surie is the best chiropractor I have ever beento. He explains things very well and really cares about his patients. His heart is to help people,and you can sense that as soon as you meet him. He has gone above and beyond for me and I amforever grateful. There came a time in my life when I was in so much pain and no one was helping me, I came to the point of hopelessness and did not know what to do. I met Dr. Surie and my life has changed physically and spiritually. Also, I must mention, the staff is amazing, it's like a little family.
